I’m going to take you through a 7-part series of what I’ve learnt from my own experiences, talking to you, and a ton of desk research — about cloth fem care.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve used cloth liners personally for 3 years, cloth pads 2.5, and have had made them for sale for 2 years.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve covered so much since I started the Tinkerbox but instead of scrolling through old posts (not really possible 😂) I’m consolidating what I’ve learnt into a week-long series that covers:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1 –My personal journey — what made me switch to reusable cloth fem care.
2 – Different types of pads — lengths, absorbencies, types of materials — and more importantly, the pros and cons and whys that underpins each variable.
3 – One of the most important concerns when switching to cloth, “How long can I wear a pad before needing a change?” and why longer isn’t necessarily better.
4 – Washing and caring for your liner/pad — in addition to making sure your pad is clean, how can you keep any staining at bay? How important is a stain free pad anyway?
5 – Managing used pads when you’re out and about.
6 – Is cloth fem care better for your health? How is it better?
7 – How you can start your own cloth pad journey.

I hope you enjoy reading the rest 🤗
